👋 Hey, Jon here! This week, we are diving into revenue generated from Chiirp outbound campaigns across 75 businesses. These businesses span HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and garage doors - while it isn’t broken down by service type, we will begin to do that in the future.
As a refresher, below is January’s outbound campaign performance summary:
Response Rate: 7%
Total Revenue Opportunity: $293,333 per location
Closed Revenue: +18% month-over-month ($184,000)
Closed Revenue Generated (70-location sample): $13.8 million
ROI: 184x (no, that is not a typo)
Chiirp outbound campaigns have continued to perform really well during the shoulder season, when conversion volume from other digital marketing channels has been trending downward.
February revenue performance came in strong again, with more total revenue opportunity generated per location than in January.
With that, let’s dive in!
Chiirp Outbound Campaigns Had a 5.3% Response Rate in February
From January to February, the audience of outbound campaigns went from 225,000 to over 300,000, with a slight decrease in response rate, going from 7% to 5.3%.
That means over 16,000 over the 300,000 customers in this audience list responded to their outbound messages.
In total, 8,335 net new jobs were booked in February.
2.7% of customers who received a message ended up booking a net new job (down from 4% in January) and spent an average of $3,122.89 (up from $2,684.60 in January).
For every 1,000 impressions (texts) from Chiirp outbound campaigns, $84,318 in revenue was earned.
Chiirp Outbound Campaigns Generated $314,533 in Revenue Opportunity per Location in February
Chiirp generated more revenue opportunity per brand in February ($314,533) than in January ($293,333).
This totals $23.59 million in revenue opportunity in February (up from $22 million in January).
64% of that revenue opportunity turned into sold or closed revenue, compared to 50% for channels like GLSA, organic and PPC.
In one of the lowest performing months industry-wide, Chiirp actually improved the total dollar opportunities for the businesses in this sample.
Chiirp Outbound Campaigns Generated $182,533 in Closed Revenue per Location in February
Despite the increase in revenue opportunity, closed revenue came down slightly, totalling $13.69 million in February versus $13.8 million in January, but is still really strong performance.
That works out to $182,533 in closed revenue from net-new opportunities per brand in February.
I know that I say it a lot, but outbound campaigns are crucial revenue-generating activity, especially in months like February.
These are customers who are already in your sales cycle, and the extra push has proven to do a phenomenal job at generating additional revenue opportunities.
Until next time . . .
